Through our new Graduate Training Programme, designed specifically for the fire industry, Honeywell is committed to nurturing tomorrows experts and providing key education to newly qualified graduates.

The Graduate Training Programme includes the following 3 modules:

Module 1 - BS 5839 Part 1: 2017 FUNDAMENTALS

One-day training on the basic principles of the Code. On completion of this Module, you will have a good understanding of the Code of Practice for system design, installation commissioning and maintenance.

Module 2 - INTRODUCTION TO ASD

Half-day introduction to the design of Aspirating systems and their application to BS5839-1 and BS6266.

Module 3 - INTRODUCTION TO VOICE ALARM

Half-day introduction to the principles of Voice Alarm, Loudspeaker design and application of BS5839-8

Location

Locations for the Graduate Training Programme are flexible. We can carry out the training at your office, at a Honeywell office, or, if there is a larger group, we can set up a bespoke venue to suit your requirements.

All sessions will be certified by the CPD Service, which will contribute to training hours as part of Graduate Continuous Professional Development. Each session will include practical design exercises for participants to practice new skills and learnings from the sessions.

As a follow up each graduate will:

• Connect with a mentor through a Honeywell Fire Business Manager
• Receive on-going design and application support from Honeywell Fire
• Obtain full access to our Honeywell CPD Programme
